Working/internal Course Description that will lead into a detailed design document for an eLearning course on configuration of a new product. The design document shows how module/lesson objectives match up to course objectives (in the table at the end of the document). The document also provides an outline with a few notes on the components that need to be included for certain topics.

Wrote Level 1 Assessment ("smile sheet") to identify specific ways to improve a classroom course (custom created for a customer in India). Applied Dr. Will Thalheimer's book,
Performance-Focused Smile Sheets. Learners were to be provided with a link to this online survey (Survey Monkey) once the semester course was complete. |
Matched target audiences with the training courses they needed from our custom curriculum, and worked with our LMS Administrator to set up the learning plans in Docebo. We were onboarding several Software sales business units to Salesforce. We had a process, requirements, etc. and a large group of printer/hardware sales reps who were already using Salesforce. The purpose of this document was to identify which content/topics were needed by each target audience.

Worked closely with a colleague to create this Detailed Design Document template. We needed a way to record what we gathered during front-end analysis on new training projects. The document also provided a way to design those deliverables. Created for our team of Instructional Designers as a standard document to be used when development was to be handed over to the content development team.

Created a survey for all sales reps to learn more about their needs and opinions on our new product webinars and the use of sales playbooks. Survey was based on book, Performance-Focused Smile Sheets, by Dr. Will Thalheimer, PhD. The questions in this Word document were put into an online survey tool to be sent to all sales reps.

Detailed Design Document for various Voice over LTE call flows (small curriculum). The purpose of the document is to explain the design components of the course so that a content developer would be able to create the call flows in Articulate Storyline. The micro learning objects of the course are storyboarded. All call flows use a 'base' or foundational diagram that gets slightly modified for each call type, thus keeping the learning objects consistent for the learner, yet specific for each call. The learning objects described in this document make up three courses as part of a redesign of existing training. These courses were to be prerequisites for subsequent courses in the VoLTE portfolio.
The purposes for the redesign were to improve structure, chunk content, remove overwhelming or redundant content, and simplify the complex functionality and flow of voice over LTE - sending voice packets (data) over a cellular network (VoLTE). I worked with many SMEs/engineers to create a clean, easy-to-read diagram to be used throughout the course. These courses gave learners a clear picture of how to find what they need so they can structure their personal approach in their learning journey. The curriculum design included a progression of difficulty within each course and from one course to the next. |
Diagram illustrates complex call flow (LTE and IMS VoLTE) in a simplified way for the learner. The diagram was used to animate various call flow scenarios and to provide detailed information as an image with hot spots.

Custom Salesforce curriculum designed and developed, working closely with SMEs to meet the needs of new and existing sales reps and partner channels.

Template for writing a Lab Guide for hands-on exercises.

Simple course description to share with learners and stakeholders when asked for information on the course. This course is a MOOC. Look under my Special Projects tab for more information on the MOOCs that I created.
|
Design for a microlearning curriculum to aid users of our LMS. Goal was to decrease the number of trouble and help tickets the Academy received because many learners could not register for training or the LMS, or change their password.
